BMI Award Winning Songwriter, Kristy Jackson, best known for her heart wrenching 9/11 tribute, "Little Did She Know (She'd Kissed A Hero)" weighs in on world events with her thought provoking song, "One Way To Love".?
"When you're a songwriter, you write from your perspective.? I'm a mother with two sons, 21 and 17.? My youngest is talking about enlisting after he graduates from high school.? If that were his choice, I would be very proud of him but as his mother, I'd be lying if I didn't say that it terrifies me.? Regardless of where you stand on current events......for every soldier on the field, there is a mother somewhere .........makes you wonder.....if countries were run by mothers, maybe there would be no wars at all."

ONE WAY TO LOVE
Kristy Jackson
Dear Mrs. Nasri
I have a son
His name is Michael David and he just turned 21
He got his blue eyes from his Daddy
I?m told his humor comes from me
He?s in our military serving overseas?
Dear Mrs. Jackson
My son?s Ali
He has a wife and two small children
One just born he?s never seen
His eyes are soft and brown in color
And his laugh can fill a room
His family?s struggling and I hope he comes home soon?
We have so many things in common then again we may have few
I know that both our hearts are breaking wondering what they?re going through
We both believe in prayer to a Father up above
I?ll pray for you
You pray for me
There?s only one way to love?
Dear Mrs. Nasri
I got a call
I?m told that Michael David?s missing
It doesn?t look good at all
But I believe that if you see him
I know exactly what you?d do
You?ll take him in and care for him
As I would do the same for you
We have so many things in common then again we may have few
I know that both our hearts are breaking wondering what they?re going through
We both believe in prayer to a Father up above
I?ll pray for you
You pray for me
There?s only one way to love? ?
