Look at the trees?. tell me what do you see?

Through your window?. behind the glass

Somewhere a child is peering through another window

Wondering what will pass

If only he could climb a tree he?d be so happy?without a clue

He wouldn?t care about the world and where it?s going

Dreams will come true

Bridges of Peace - Connecting everyone

You and me?. and all of us together

Bridges of Peace ? Will span across the sea

Love will light the way

Look in his eyes?it comes as no surprise

How can he miss what he never knew?

Show him the simple things?the essence of his childhood

Dreams will come true

Bridges of Peace - Connecting everyone

Stone by stone?. we can?t do it alone

Bridges of Peace are we

"I used a "Video" approach to write it. Here's what I envisioned.....

The camera pans in on a map of the USA right inside a house somewhere in the Heartland of America. Someone is looking out the window at a beautiful tree.

He/She is filled with a feeling of freedom and is moved by the utter beauty of this simplistic yet wonderful sight. Now...the camera pans across the ocean and meets a young boy peering out his window at a similar tree. The same beauty exists but because of the circumstances (government oppression and bombs being lobbed at his neighborhood on a daily basis) the perception is skewed. Can you imagine being that child and feeling that oppressed?

Back to the house in the heartland where something wonderful is about to happen......

From this tiny backyard, several bridges (walkways) magically

sprout......spanning out from in front of that lovely tree. The magic

continues and the bridges (of peace) multiply and branch out to all nations.

You can now see children curiously crossing over from far away lands gathering under that one special tree where they are free to play and just be "KIDS".....the way it's suppose to be.

Setting up this visual was all I needed to start a flow of songwriting that came as easy to me as riding a bike."
